Next Steps for New Believers: Welcome to the Family!

Congratulations on making the incredible decision to surrender your life to Jesus! This is the beginning of an amazing journey, and we’re excited to walk alongside you every step of the way.

The Importance of Belonging to a Church Body

As a new believer, one of the most important steps you can take is to connect with a community of believers. The Bible encourages us not to walk this journey alone. Hebrews 10:25 tells us, "Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another." The church is a place where you can grow in your faith, receive support, and find encouragement through worship, teaching, and relationships.

At Great Oaks Church, we believe that belonging to a local church body is essential for your spiritual growth. You are not meant to do life alone, and our church family is here to help guide, support, and pray with you. We invite you to join us and find a community of believers ready to walk alongside you as you take the next steps in your faith.

What to expect

Our service is focused on magnifying and glorifying Jesus. We do this through biblically sound and Spirit led praise and worship, a full-gospel, Bible-filled message from our Pastor, and a time of edification and ministry.

We have a culture of serving and treating each other like family whether it's your first time or you've been coming for years.

We offer free donuts and coffee, and have kid's church available for children 12 and under.

What do I wear?

Wear what you want! The majority of our family wears casual attire, such as t-shirts or dress shirts and jeans. So keep it family friendly, and wear what's comfortable to you!
